Center for Climate, Environment & Health

Our team works to understand and mitigate the public health risks posed by our natural and man-made environment.

The Center for Climate, Environment & Health is a research center housed within the Brown University School of Public Health. Our faculty, students and staff measure and analyze health risks in our environment, and work with trusted community partners to understand and mitigate negative health outcomes from those identified risks.

Whether evaluating the role of emissions from coal plants in local cases of lung and heart disease, or examining the risks of forever chemicals on expectant mothers and their children, our researchers are connecting the ways our environment impacts our health.
