Climate and Health

The climate crisis has downstream effects on public health — from measuring heat domes to preparing vulnerable populations for hard-hitting hurricanes, our researchers are looking into the impacts of climate on health.

Climate change is a global phenomenon, but its impacts are highly differentiated and highly local. Fusing public health with environmental science, faculty at Brown are pioneering methods that reveal how climate change is threatening our health. Together, they’re finding solutions.
