Biography
Nina is an epidemiology Ph.D. student whose research interests have focused on the impact of environmental exposures in vulnerable populations and how the distribution of these exposures can intensify existing social inequalities. Specifically, Nina is interested in how noise and air pollution influence the health and development of children unequally exposed through their environment. She obtained her BS in Biology and MPH from the University of Connecticut and worked as a research assistant at Boston University prior to coming to Brown.
